Job Summary

Role Overview

We are looking for seasoned Scrum Masters / Release Train Engineers (RTEs) who go beyond facilitation and bring strong ownership of delivery, technical acumen, and data-driven leadership. The ideal candidate will drive both product and engineering teams, enforce Agile discipline, and proactively manage risks, while leveraging tools like Jira and AI platforms (e.g., Copilot) to enhance delivery outcomes and executive reporting. Note: SAFe or Agile certifications alone are not sufficient; proven hands-on experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end Agile execution across product and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning.
  • Enforce Agile best practices and challenge deviations such as delayed PI submissions.
  • Act as a bridge between business, product, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Manage Program Increment (PI) planning and execution across multiple teams.
  • Track dependencies, risks, and milestones across squads.
  • Ensure release readiness and execution tracking.
  • Provide leadership communication with clear updates on progress, risks, and metrics.

Jira & Technical Expertise

  • Advanced expertise in Jira and JQL for dashboard creation and reporting.
  • Ability to create real-time executive dashboards within hours.
  • Drive Jira adoption and governance across teams.

Risk Management

  • Identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks proactively.
  • Drive rapid resolution and escalation of blockers.
  • Foster accountability and proactive risk culture.

Data & Metrics Driven Delivery

  • Track Agile KPIs including velocity, cycle time, predictability, and quality metrics.
  • Convert metrics into actionable insights for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement using data storytelling.

AI & Tools Adoption

  • Leverage AI tools like Copilot to create executive presentations and reports.
  • Drive automation and productivity improvements.
  • Encourage adoption of AI tools within teams.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–15+ years of Agile delivery experience.
  • Strong hands-on Scrum Master / RTE experience in large-scale environments.
  • Expert-level Jira & JQL knowledge is mandatory.
  • Ability to drive both product and engineering teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in risk identification and mitigation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in banking or financial services domains.
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience managing distributed teams.
