Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities Procurement & Vendor Management • Obtain and review quotes for lab hardware and infrastructure orders. • Ensure quotes align with customer and project requirements. • Submit purchase requests and track approvals through completion. • Manage order lifecycle, including tracking shipment status and delivery timelines. Logistics & Data Center Coordination • Coordinate with data center teams for hardware delivery, rack space, and placement. • Ensure proper scheduling and readiness for equipment arrival and installation. • Track shipments end-to-end and resolve any delivery or logistics issues. • Align all deployments with data center operational procedures and timelines. Project Planning & Documentation • Create detailed specification documents for all new deployments and hardware/rack moves. • Define infrastructure requirements, configurations, and deployment scope. • Develop and maintain cable maps and rack layouts for deployments. • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with standards. Deployment Coordination & Execution • Drive all communications with site services and engineering teams for hardware deployment scheduling. • Coordinate installation timelines, resource allocation, and readiness across teams. • Oversee execution of rack builds, hardware installs, and infrastructure changes. • Ensure successful deployment validation and sign-off. Work Tracking & ADO Management • Create and manage Azure DevOps (ADO) Features and work items for all projects. • Assign tasks and track progress across engineering and operations teams. • Drive regular status updates, ensuring visibility into project milestones and risks. • Maintain accurate tracking of deliverables, timelines, and dependencies. Communication & Stakeholder Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates and escalations. • Provide clear, consistent communication across stakeholders, including engineering, lab ops, and data center teams. • Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans to keep projects on track. Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement, deployment, and tracking processes. • Leverage AI tools such as Copilot CLI to assist with documentation, tracking, and workflow optimization. • Improve operational workflows through automation and standardization
