Senior Agile Business Analyst

Job Summary

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Banking – Business Analyst to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity. 

We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst with deep banking product expertise who can own end‑to‑end requirements and operate effectively in Agile/Scrum environments. This role partners closely with business leaders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver complex digital banking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Product Analysis

  • Lead enterprise‑level business analysis for core banking and digital initiatives.
  • Own requirement discovery, documentation, and refinement from ideation to delivery.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.

Banking Product Ownership

  • Drive analysis across banking products like Payments, Credit Cards, Deposits, Loans (Mortgage/Auto/Personal), Collections, and Mobile Banking.
  • Partner with product and business teams to improve customer journeys and product capabilities.

Agile / Scrum Execution

  • Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams to manage backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint planning.
  • Act as a BA + Agile delivery partner, ensuring requirements are sprint‑ready and aligned to business outcomes.
  • Support sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives.

Testing & Quality

  • Lead UAT strategy, execution, and business sign‑off.
  • Partner with QA to ensure high‑quality, production‑ready releases.

Skill Requirements

  • 8+ years of Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis.
  • Strong banking domain experience across multiple products.
  • Hands‑on experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Strong experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Compensation Data

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $82,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $121,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
