About the Role
We are looking for a Connectivity System Test Engineer with hands-on experience testing embedded systems on Linux platforms. This role focuses on connectivity validation (wireless/PED device connectivity and basic wired Ethernet understanding) along with system test procedure writing, test execution, and results documentation.

Perform system testing on embedded Linux platforms for connectivity features
Work hands-on with Linux command-line operations for system navigation and validation
Manage Linux file systems, directories, binaries, libraries, and capture logs for analysis
SSH into multiple systems and execute shell commands effectively
Use Linux command-line utilities such as text processing tools, system monitoring tools, and curl
Apply understanding of Linux networking concepts and operations
Work with hardware discretes, understanding their usage, meaning, and notification triggers for functionality
Understand and validate wireless connectivity terminology and PED device connectivity
Support testing with basic hardware wiring knowledge, such as Ethernet connections
Install and manage software and Linux packages from the command line
Write test procedures from requirements, execute test cases, and document results clearly
Use ALM / test management tools for test execution and reporting
Perform manual and UI testing as part of system validation activities

Skill Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Embedded Systems on Linux platforms
Strong proficiency with Linux command line and shell operations
Experience navigating and managing Linux filesystem structures
Ability to work across multiple systems using SSH
Understanding of Linux networking basics and connectivity concepts
Experience with system testing, including test procedure writing, execution, and documentation
Familiarity with ALM tools and structured test management processes
Experience with manual testing / UI testing
Nice to Have
Basic understanding of ARINC 429 labels and protocol terminology
